1. They are vocal. Sometimes barking…sometimes attempting to speak English.
2. Dobermans are silly, not scary… and a lot of people are terribly confused.
3. Your Doberman… is special (but then again, so are you). You get each other.
4. When things like this happen, your Doberman isn’t overcome with guilt. Often times, it even results in getting a new chew toy. He considers it an understanding.
5. Waking up to this or something along the same lines on a regular basis.
7. If you aren’t going to finish it… do not waste it. Give it to me. I’m right here. –Your Doberman
8. Your Doberman wants attention, and is spectacular at letting it be known.
9. Your Doberman is not shy about letting you know her wants and needs.
10. If you didn’t pick him up his own, you feel obligated to share yours.
11. Your Doberman often plays the role of most overly zealous while hanging out with friends.
12. You both love your bed, equally.
13. “Sorry, not sorry…” –Your Doberman
14. …Friendly tip for your gassy Doberman.
15. You can trust your Doberman to guard your house… but not the cake.

I have been rescuing Dobermans for 40 years -- love all dogs but the Doberman has a "special" place in my heart!! Can't imagine my life without 1, 2 or 3 (which is the # of Dobes that I normally have).
How are is the oldest Doberman you have had? Mine is 13 years and 9 months and I've had her since she was 5 weeks old. I know it's time to put her down, it's just a really hard thing to do. I'm sure you understand that.
I had mine until she was 17
What a nice site for Dobies and their loving parents!
Dobie club, i love doberman pinchers, doberman debo i
( HAS A page on my fb. [email protected]
I have a 9 mo old Doberman, he's my 5th, I can relate to majority of the pictures for sure, but my dobies are chewers, I can't leave blankets in the kennel, all toys are chewed, when he gets something he's not suppose to least he brings it to me LOL, Love my Sampson!!!
I was unable to view some of the photos; however, I certainly related to each one. My husband and I owned five Dobies, starting with a red male, Baron, his daughter, Rosie, an abused female, Misty, female, Tasha, and female Heidi. The first four were all family dogs, but my husband was leader of the pack. Also, so was Heidi, and she was my husband's dog up to the time of his death, and then she became my baby. She has been gone for 2 years and is missed every day. The only photo I would disagree with (perhaps) is the one re the bed. Lots of time, my Dobies would claim more than half the bed. Hard sleeping with two Dobies and two adults, but we did and loved it. Thank you for posting.
Must add: Al the female Dobies were black and rust. Baron the only one red .
We do 2 adults and 3 grown dobermans 1 black male 2 red females I
OVE THEM #genteldobermans
Our first Dobie Monty....is an amazing dog with an incredible nature, fantastic with children.....hes three years old and have yet to hear him really growl.
I have a 4 year old male Dexter and a 1 year old female, Chloe. Can't imagine life without them. They truly keep it interesting. Lol!!
Nice place to see Dobermann funny pictures.
Great site, I love my kids they are my family. Jasmine is 5, Red is 4 almost 5and Emma 3 1/2.
I've had 3 wonderful Dobies, would love to get another, but i'm now retired and really can't afford to have one now that Vet's charge so much for shots and spaying etc.
think about fostering!
I have never seen a more intelligent and proud animal in my life my 110lb red Dobie girl is my world i will never own another breed she is my first but I am definitely hooked
I agree! On my first and a rescue. THE best breed.
I have been fortunate enough to share my life with three wonderful girls,Zonker, Rosie and Annie. They have been the absolute loves of my life. My wife and I can not imagine life without them. Annie is our current baby girl (8), and the smartest dog I have ever lived with. She is guilty of all 15 items here and the reason we now have a king size bed. I love her more than life itself.
I've had three females over the years everyone different but very vocal and loving they all loved their blankets in their own way all loved their toys last two loved to chew them up as soon as they got them their needs to be a chew toy made for doberman that holds up for more than 2 minutes they are loyal ,loving, and good babysitters not letting the child getting in trouble while you watch in amazement the doberman has very good skills in child care I don't know if any other breed would make me as happy as a doberman
Have 2 - love them!! Goofy but all business when necessary. When people ask: are they ok? I say as long as I'm ok, they're ok and you're ok!$
I love them, have 4 and me.... and every one of them are my babies... LOVE THEM TO PIECES>>>
