Stray Dog Saves Woman Who Crashed Car
There’s a reason dogs are man’s best friend: they are brave animals who are noble and helpful to humans. These traits shine through in this story:
According to Shareably, Shannon Lorio was driving through rural Georgia one day. As she approached a sharp curve, she lost control of the vehicle and wrecked her car in a ditch. Lorio was thrown from her car and onto the top of the trunk. Lorio was concussed and unable to move. The wreck site was far from the road and it was unlikely anyone would notice.
Then, out of nowhere, a stray dog began to kiss her face. The dog took Lorio by her shirt and dragged her back to the road and made effort to track down a car. Someone noticed what was going on and managed to get Lorio to a nearby hospital.
Lorio rescued the pup and named him Hero.
Hero was later adopted by a dog trainer and now has a future Search and Rescue dog.
In the end, they rescued each other.
