Love it!!!! I can relate to all... LOL! Boxer Lover! Doggie Love.....
"Your boxer is in every picture you take of your child"...BahaHahahah!!! Yup!!
So absolutely, positively dead on. Once you've had a boxer, you truly tend to stay with the breed. Such loyal, agile, loving & descently intelligent (when not acting as a spazoid) dogs. I've owned 3, & out of all the the other breeds (German Shep. & Beagle, which were great dogs & breeds) I'd have to say w/o a doubt, I'm staying with my Boxer Buds, till the end!
Absolutely. The only breed to own.
Absolutely! Had them all my life. Wouldn't have any thing else! !
There are a couple more signs to add that you love your Boxer. I kiss each and every one of mine and tell them individually I love them everyday.
I actually have to rub her belly every morning when she wakes up. She goes to the same spot, lays on her back and will not move until I do it. Every time I get up from my seat on the couch she steals my spot, then pretends to ignore me when I tell her to move
yup, and the drivers seat soon as I get out of the car, and acts like he can't hear me when I need him to move so I can get in and drive.
Mine doesn't pretend... she ignores me!
My boxer loves to sit on my lap and loves to give me Wet Willie's
Boxer Power Whahoo. These pics and blurbs are spot on. Boxers are the most hilarious dogs on the planet. My boxer "Sara" gets me laughing all the time. She knows things before I know them, it's quite uncanny.
We left her in the garage the other day because we had to leave for the day, (it's a very nice garage, one could live in it) She broke down the gate we had put at the door. She opened the door to the house, and was found lazing on her bed in the house with our door wide open to the world. Who can get mad at that kind of amazing talent. LOL She is definitely an indoor pooch "don't fence me out"!

I am with these boxer dudes every where! They are the sweetest, wouldn't hurt ANYONE on the planet, dufuss looking dogs I've ever seen. The world would not be the same without boxers. For the record, I think ears should be left natural, because it gives them more appeal. My son has the same boxer he had at 5 yrs. old, and now he is 30. I know he has no idea what her death is really going to do to him, and I dread hat day. Her name is SADIE, and now he and his wife have a Mattie to play with Sadie. Only problem is, Mattie is young and playful while Sadie is old and dead set in her ways. It's really funny to watch them together. I have always wondered if Boxers lay down, and get off the bed or whatever the same way, which is, they have to turn around 4 or 5 times before laying down just right in a donut shape, and when they want to get down, they slide their whole body off down to their toes all stretched out to get off whatever their on.
25 year old boxer????
I too dread that day... I am going to be devastated, but my 35-year-old son's oldest "son", Boudreaux, is his heart... Bou is 7 and suffers from Addison's Disease. I would like to know how long a healthy boxer can live? What is the oldest you guys have heard of? Our family has a total of 5 boxers. We cannot imagine the future without any of them...
I just lost my Boxer 4 months ago. This really brought a smile to my face and some tears. I miss my sweet boy.
I lost my girl 5 years ago...i still talk to her picture. These made me smile too
i also talk to my boxers picture ... we lost our baby boxer Keisha on the 17th August 2014, she was only 7, it broke our heart ... the images here are awesome xxx
One of a kind a die hard Boxer lover
Love my boxers, I love this and relate to a lot of the pics.
I am so fortunate and honoured to receive the intense love and devotion of my two Boxer boys (Ike and Henry who are my 7th and 8th boys) that have joined me through my whole life. The only thing wrong with Boxers is they don't live for 2 or 3 times as long as they deserve to and their loss is so painful and earth shattering. I cannot imagine life without a Boxer being a central part of it they just have such big personalities. A meme that catches their take on life so well describes them as a larger than life cartoon character that's been brought to life!
I agree, there is no dog in my mind that compares to a boxer. They just have a personality like no other breed of dogs. I love my boxer as much as I love my grown children. She is my constant companion!!
I have to reverse brendell boxers my Abby will be 7 in December she has cancer in her left front shoulder and they are giving her 6 months to live I'm having such a hard time dealing with what's coming I don't know what I'm going to do I love her with all my heart and I understand every article and everything I've read they are a wonderful breed they are the best dogs I've ever had and i am 65 years old
I would love to see your sweet Abby's photo! I don't know what the reverse Brendel looks like?
THE mos mIng dogs in the world! So so very funny!!!! I have a 8 years old wild "child" called Sunny who has the energy of a puppy! She cracks me up everyday! Love boxers. The world is a better place because of boxers!!!
I adopted my son in law and daughters boxer Tyson at 7 - he is almost 8 -never had a boxer before -I love him like a child - they worked all the time and left him out- My husband and I think he is greatest !!! He is kinda like a person to us - and they just had a baby five weeks old - and he is so sweet with the baby
Last night my boy Loki fell asleep on the couch with my son. He normally sleeps with me. This morning he was hanging off the couch and so he got down onto the floor to continue sleeping. I carried him to my bed and stayed an extra 30 minutes past when I needed to be getting ready for work so that I could snuggle since I had been apart from him all night. I was late to work because I needed to snuggle my dog.
We lost our last boxer at 7 and I swore I would never have another one because it hurt so much but after 8 months, I couldn’t bear to be without a boxer and we had our present boxer as a puppy. She is now almost 13. We adore her and know that we haven’t got too much longer with her but we have never regretted having her. We dread losing her but every moment of her life has brought us so much joy. For us, there is no other breed.
Have had boxers since Spike in 1978. We now have Harvey Boston and Crosby 7, 4 and 2 respectively. Quite right, you cannot just have one. So these are numbers 9, 10 and 11. Everyone different, everyone owns the lounge, bed and car. Everyone wants the front seat (three squished in there jockeying for position). They all go too soon, everyone individual and everyone loved. I’d give a kidney for any of them... If it’s not a boxer it’s just a dog.
I know how you all feel. We adopted Steve from a local shelter at the age of one. He’s now pushing 8. We have since added Tucker (3), Ella (2) (and deaf) & Tucker (1). They bring so much joy into our lives. We have just started them on Gentle Giants dog food. This food is amazing! Steve has a fatty sits on his side. Since starting Gentle Giants a month ago it ha shrunk dramatically! They have Great Danes that are living into their 20’s! Please, please check this food out! We never have enough time with our human Boxers.
Everything you’ve said about Boxers is so true. Having three puppies is hard, but the joy they bring into our home makes up for all of the disasters they cause. Yes, ours too slide off of the couch all the way to their toes. Ours love to dive through the dog door and chase each other around the back yard, just to dive back through the dog door to pile up in my lap and give me kisses. They are truly a joy!
