Mona is the name of our 12 year old beauty.
My Frankie is 2 years old and only drools if I take too long to get the food is his bowl or the Pumpkin on the plate fast enough and then it is the longest drool in history( from his jowls to the floor and anywhere he has paced while waiting -- only minutes worth).
Bulldogs do not drool, but Saint Bernard do. When bulldogs shake their heads, spit flies!

All dogs drool when they get their dinner cue (thanks for the observation Pavlov. My bullies cue is the sound of the fish tank lid closing, his dinner is next) Otherwise they don't drool. What they do, do is get a big drink of water and wipe their wet flaps off on you. Easy fix! I trained mine to like paper towels!

That is awesome. My boy "Zephyr" makes a huge mess when at the water bowl. You would think somebody just got out of the shower and drip dried... He is the best and I wish I would have gotten one many years ago. Mine is 1 1/2 yrs old, completely white except for his right eye thst has a small brown ring around it. It looks like he is wearing mascara, lmao.

All of the above and then some. Like the fact they have no idea they are so big and strong and want to be lap dogs or plow over you going down the stairs, but they are just awesomely sweet and loving. And all the work to keep them healthy is worth it.

I couldn't imagine my life w/o my bullie boy!!! I recently purchased a king sized bed and lowered to floor to make easier for my boy to get in/out and not hurt himself.. Well he has decided that around 3 am to literally take his big bear paw and pull my husband out of bed!! He tries to lure husband to couch to cuddle & once successful he saunters back in room and reclaims " his" spot .. Leaving my husband on the couch!!!! I've had Bullys for over 30 years. For me there is no other dog. I have a wonderful young 7 year old male named Max. He's a big baby. But he's not spoilt I'm just well trained. LOL
Everything but the drooling applies. We have had 5 bulldogs now and thankfully none of them have drooled.

I have a 8.5 year old female bulldog, she is my first dog and even though she gets up every night between 2-4 to go toilet I still wouldn't part with her. This article made me smile so much they are characters and truly are the best breed!
I have three and the one female is up every night between 3-4 to go to the bathroom. Having three is quite an adventure at times. All 3 are so different.

I have never owned a B.B.D, but my best friend and her husband shared 2 w/me over the years. And I even know about the most scariest farts in the world. I believe there next to Gods humor as the avocado is. I used to laugh out loud at my best friends hurling off the sofa to slow down the Nile River Drools with any dry hand towel left to wipe his mug. And yes they are cute, I finally admit it and it's finally in print, (to my best friend)

I have 2 wonderful bully girls, a mother Lucy and daughter Ellie May. I raised 2 litters with Lucy. The hardest thing was watching them go to their new homes. I am a super bully crazy mom. My fur babies are the best.
This is all true, but they left out that Bullies average lifespan is about 10 years. How much it hurts to lose one and much you will miss them.

My daughter and her husband have an English Bulldog named Winston. For about a year I took care of him while they got settled in England. Every second I had him made my life happier and each day I loved him more. Not only was he sweet and cuddly and adorable, but the most gentle and lovable animal I have ever seen. Putting him on a plane and saying goodbye was probably the hardest thing ever. We Skype often and I talk to him as much as possible. ??

I lost my baby boy bout 6months ago, he passed away in his sleep from something no vet or anyone had ever told me bout come to find out its the 2nd leading cos of death this terrible thing called BLOAT, when my alarm went off at 5:45am. & my husband &I got up we said come on popup lets go potty he didn't move I started giving him CPR after 15min my husband pulled me off of him, I lost my mind my baby was gone he just turned 8, we had a female her name is Feonia that was here husband, I hv nvr felt pain in my heart like that before. I have his ashes, I would do anything to have my baby boy back. He was all white w/a corkscrew tail so I called him piggy, I lived for him he was so spoiled he slept rite in the middle of me & my husband he wouldn't have it any other way. He always got his way they are hard headed dogs its there way or no way. I still cry at least once a week, a piece of my heart is gone and will nvr be bk. My baby girl went into a major state of depression along with me, it was the saddest thing to watch her look for him she would sit in the fenced yard & think he was coming back in the house w her, I'm ready to get ANOTHER ONE IT WILL BE BEST FOR ALL THREE OF US. IM SAFING LITTLE BY LITTLE TO BRING HOME A NEW BABY. HE WILL NEVER BE REPLACED OR FORGOTTEN & I DONT THINK THAT HURT WILL EVER FULLY GO AWAY, I JUST HAVE SO MUCH LOVE TO GIVE TO ANOTHER ONE & A GREAT HOME HE WILL HAVE & YES HE WILL PROBABLY RULE THE HOUSE AND THATS FINE W ME & IM SURE FEONIA WILL LOVE HIM, IT.MIGHT TAKE SOME TIME. THEY ARE ONE OF A KIND _ONCE U HAVE ONE U WILL NEVER want another breed of dog, they are the best in every way. On our third English Bulldog. They are the absolute best. If people descended from anything it would have been bulldogs because they are so human. LOL Miss my first and second one so, so much. Their names were 'Hangover' and 'Sarah Ferguson' called 'Fergi'. So appropriated!
We have 2 beautiful 7 month old Bulldogs from the same litter. What a handful they are and I love it! Sassy is super cuddly and needs to be touching you all the time. However Loki doesn't seem to like cuddling. He will get up on the couch and sit for a few minutes then he's down again and lays on the floor across the room. If you get on the floor with him he pushes you away almost all of the time. Still he does love a good belly rub, gives kisses that soak my face and follows me everywhere I go. Can anyone tell me why he doesn't like cuddles?

The books don't tell you what a google search will.... world's dumbest breed. But we adore him to pieces, despite the stolen clothing, the chewed Manolos, the toys that are destroyed in ten seconds and the seven minutes he spent in puppy school before being expelled. He is the biggest baby and my OH reads him bedtime stories. Nothing compares to the greeting you get when arriving home (even if you were only gone an hour, he can't tell the time) ????????
My female bulldog has a nervous habit that we call drippy face. All of a sudden she starts dripping water out of her mouth and the only thing I can do is put her on the couch where I have waterproof pads and towels set up. On the vet's advice we give her a Benadryl every 6 hrs until it stops. We haven't put her through allergy testing as she's a bit nervous due to her age and a small stroke she had due to a drug reaction post surgery.
I recently purchased an Olde English. She smashes her head and upper half of her body into my face until I can't even breathe. It's like she can't get close enough. She is 13 months. I wonder if this is a dominance thing or are bulls just in your face huggers? She literally plants herself on top of me, rests her jowls on my cheek or mouth and will not budge...

We both miss him so much and this is because I didn’t know if he could handle the intense heat here. A few days more and we will be back in South Florida to pick him up. He is a true to have him in our home.
