1. People might be startled by your Boxer’s demeanor … regardless how friendly and loveable they really are.
Some people may be intimidated by your big ol’ baby (and that’s exactly what they are).
2. There’s this look your boxer will give you…when you’re already feeling guilty. Whether it’s when you’re eating the 10th cookie – or sitting on your butt when it’s beautiful outside
… they’ll put you in check with this look.
3. He’s too cool for school & puts up with your shenanigans. What more can you really ask for?

They’re strong & playful… so hold on tight. If people were graced with as much energy as boxers… who knows what could be accomplished.

5. Your boxer does not give two thoughts to what other people or dogs think of him.
Happiness is the #1 goal, it’s never left unaccomplished and they have no problem sharing it with you.
6. There is no seat in the house that is safe. And most importantly, your boxer’s comfort is more important than yours.
Nothing you can do about it, so you accept it. Such couch hogs.
7. Your boxer is not mocking you – it just wants to be just like you… They seriously think they are human.

Their compassion for you, and seemingly ability to speak your language is irreplaceable.
10. Boxer parents know that their pooch needs some seriously heavy duty toys. They go through them like it’s nothing!

Our great-grant Boxer ate a tennis ball . Of course we had to foot the bill for surgery . BE CAREFUL with your baby !
I quit my job just to stay home with my 2 boxer girls. We didn't have anyone to let them out to go to the bathroom. So now I get to play with them all day

Our boxer is very stubborn. If he don't want out you can't move him. Or if he is on the couch and u want him down, if he doesn't want down he won't get down.

Everyone of these are true. My girl is a Boxer/Pit mix. She has the muscle mass of a Pit on the body of a Boxer. She weights just shy of 90 lbs and is the biggest cuddle body anyone could want. Just don't try to take her tug toy from her or make her do something she doesn't want to do... you wouldn't win.

I have boxer that is a year and 10 months old she jus big huggable boxer that still thinks she can sit in your lap at almost 70 pounds she is very goofy and clownish but sweet but sometimes a trouble maker in the back yard for example digging up the sprinkler system!!

I lost my first boxer to cancer almost a year ago. We had gotten Princess Kenzie Lizabeth when she was only three days old. Of course she was spoiled. Since then we welcomed Gracie Mae, who is a beautiful brindle just shy of a year old and weights a little over 50lbs. She rules the roost for sure and she is not afraid to let you know. Can't imagine my life without my four legged toddler!
I lost my first boxer Duke a couple months ago & I'm still grieving him every day. Couple years ago my brother left his very pregnant boxer with me during Christmas break & of course she delivered. She wasn't giving milk and couldn't get to the runt quick enough. I began cleaning her off and she began cutting the cord. She went back to the others only thing I could think of was to grab a straw and give little breaths & using my index to give CPR. After about 5 min she began whining and I gave her back to her mommy but she was only giving milk out of 2. I called my vet the next morning and took mom and pups and gave the story. He told me I saved that puppy. So I had to bottle feed every 2 hours around the clock!! Needless to say I bought my runt from my brother & Molly Sue couldn't be better & is more spoiled than if she was the president's dog!!!

Reagan had her first litter of pups 4 weeks ago. It was a rough time. Out of 7 pups, she delivered 3 but had problems. Took her to the dog er, had a heartbeat on one performed a c section but could not save it. Broke my heart, i grieved for the lost pups. But the three of an absolute joy. Rascal. Annie. And Daisy. One of the pups is white with a black patch around eye. I love them so much. Reagan is a good mom.
We rescued our boxer Barney when he was 18mo, at about 2 he became very aggressive and vicious towards our other Boxer. We were told, nothing could be done, and to put him down. We looked at each other and decided we had to try harder. We changed a few things, learned his triggers, stopped a potential meltdown before it could start. We also put lavender oil on his collar. He is now 4 and is the sweetest lovable dog you could ask for. We decided he had been abused before we got him, and something triggered his meltdown. We are so glad we were persistent and saved him forever!
We adopted our Jake when he was 18 months old. He was huge, 88 lbs. he would sit across our lap, but he always wanted to be near us. He once flipped his stomach and survived emergency surgery. Our vet said he had a great will to live and let our kids visit him as he recovered. He understood so many words as well as our moods. We lost him to cancer when he was 12.
Does lavender oil really work to calm them down. I haven't heard of that. My baby Precious is my best friend...one of those I can GUARANTEE will never stab me in the back as people do.
Don't forget those NASTY boxer farts! Unlike any other dogs..... I've had 4 boxers. An albino, a brindle, a fawn, an now black (sealed brindle). All had horrid farts
